Oral History Project

Graduate students at Loyola University Chicago interviewed current and former residents of Chrysler Village and the surrounding area to learn more about the subdivision’s historic value and what it has meant to the community over the years.

Students began conducting interviews in September 2015 and gathered more in August 2016 as part of the Chrysler Village Community Fest. The interviews were recorded and stored both on this website and at the Clearing Branch of the Chicago Public Library to be accessed by community members and researchers for years to come.
